Karma Kandara the flagship resort within the Karma Group, successful Bali based International Lifestyle, Leisure and Entertainment brand is now looking to hire a native English speakers to fill the role of PR & Marketing Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands on PR & Marketing Manager to be join our prestigious team.

Responsibilities
  • Your duties include responsibility for the overall Marketing of a renown Beach Club which is part of a very successful international lifestyle, leisure and entertainment brand.
  • Your PR and Marketing duties will focus on locations in Bali, the Gili Islands, and any additional beach club thereafter, with the vision of two additional beach clubs being added per year. 
  • This is very much a strategic and hands on position with particular emphasis on ensuring that our beach clubs are perceived as being one of the premier beach club operators globally. 
  • Revenue levels must be kept within the budgetary requirements of the individual properties. 
  • The aim of the PR/Marketing Manager is to pursue both traditional and innovative marketing strategies to accomplish the best result within the parameters set by the company. 

Without limiting the generality of the above you will be responsible for:
  • Strategizing and formulating long term and short term sales and marketing and revenue production initiatives.
  • Pushing for maximum guest participation at all beach clubs.
  • Analysis of the customer types that will most benefit from our beach clubs.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day Sales and Marketing of all beach club locations.
  • Operating as an integral part of the Management team of the Company.
  • Relationship Management with appointed Public Relations firm for the group.
  • Drive business through PR initiatives and being “visible” in the Bali and Gili social scenespromoting not only the beach clubs, but also select special events.
  • Hosting and being “visible” at our locations during the busy period, but in particular for selected special events that have been marketed to the social scene.
  • Your duties are to be performed diligently and with a level of skill displaying your experience as Senior Manager in the resort/hotel segment. 
  • You shall perform your duties and responsibilities in accordance with all directions and instructions of management that are generally applicable and which are specifically issued to you by the Directors of the company or their appointed intermediaries. 
  • The Company may vary the duties and responsibilities performed by you without altering any other terms of this agreement provided that your position is not substantially altered in its nature. 
  • Your input will be required in other projects which the Company may involve itself in. 

FURTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Availability to live and work in Bali
  • Prompt start date strongly preferred
  • Fluent English is a must, other additional languages would be a plus
  • Excellent work ethic and self-motivated
  • Experience in the same position for a minimum of 3-5 years.
