HHRMA - Purchasing Manager Vacancy

Shanti Collection and L Hotels & Resorts, a leading hospitality management group with villas and hotels is looking for experienced candidates for the position:

PURCHASING MANAGER

Purpose:Manage purchasing activity for organization by sourcing and identifying high quality products with the lowest possible price, building and maintaining profitable supplier relationships and ensuring purchasing activities of all departments comply with corporate purchasing policy.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with departments and advise vendors to procure materials and/or services meeting criteria of price, quality, availability, and delivery dates 
  • Develop and review purchase requests and ensure authorization and compliance as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of hotel supplies products. 
  • Build and develop relationships with key manufacturers/suppliers and customers in the hospitality industry to ensure highest possible profit margins
  • Perform a market survey on our competitors’ prices, discount rates and products every quarter. 
  • Analyse and implement group bulk purchases where possible
  • Review quotations; negotiate prices, delivery terms with manufacturers and suppliers. 
  • Research and resolves receiving and accounts payable issues 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Working relationships with major suppliers of Food & Beverage, Amenities, Housekeeping and Engineering
  • Competence with VHP, MYOB system is preferred
  • Indonesian citizens are preferred
  • Competency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
